About Cameroon Front

The Cameroon Front is a socialist party and member of the Socialist International (SI), the largest political grouping in the world. It joined the SI at the Rabat Council in Morocco in December 2024.

The Cameroon Front is much more than just a political party: it is a citizen movement committed to progress, unity, and development in Cameroon. Born out of a desire to build a more just and prosperous future, it embodies the values of democracy, transparency, and inclusion.

Our commitment is clear: to give every citizen a voice, defend the interests of the people, and work for a Cameroon where everyone has a place. Through concrete actions and an ambitious vision, we aspire to lasting change that benefits everyone.

BIOGRAPHY

  • Born Yimga-Wandji, Queen Mother (Dja Maveun) of the Bangoulap royal court in Ndé, Cameroon;
  • Vice-President of the Bangoulap Village Development Committee in charge of Entrepreneurship;
  • Gender Consultant, specializing in the analysis of women’s and gender issues in development programs;
  • Vice-President of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, Africa section of NGOs (CSW/Africa);
  • President of the Post-2015 African Women’s Forum, to accelerate sustainable development in Africa through the implementation of women’s rights;
  • Representative of the R20 Green Fund for various forms of support for women’s contributions to sustainable development in Cameroon and Africa;
  • Executive Director of SERVITAS Cameroon, an NGO with consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, working on gender and women’s issues since 2000;
  • General Coordinator of the Socialist International;
  • National President of the Cameroon Front – Political Party.
